OVERWHELMED AT ULTA? SEND ME IN COACH!

Recently a viewer wrote in to the show asking for a little guidance. Her name is Claire and she is 59 years old- she told us that she wanted to buy some new makeup for herself and was actually given a gift card to Ulta, but hadn’t yet spent it because she felt overwhelmed knowing what products were best for her maturing skin.

I am sure that Claire didn’t expect to be thrust on camera when she wrote into the show, but I knew that the best way for her to get over her fear shopping at Ulta, was just to actually take her into the store and help her navigate.   • NYX Pore Filler- to prep the skin and blur the larger pores on her nose and T-zone.

  • It Cosmetics CC Cream Illumination- to give a beautiful glow to the skin, even the tone and extra bonus SPF protection.

  • It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Concealer- this was the MOST needed product for Claire, because most of her concerns could be answered with a great concealer. I suggested she change her color to a darker shade however, because it’ll actually help camouflage fine lines better it we aren’t trying to ‘brighten’ so heavily. This product also works so well on age spots and discoloration.

  • It Cosmetics Your Most Beautiful You Palette- to contour, blush and highlight all in one place! Plus we used it as our eyeshadow colors too! Don’t forget to add color back into your face after you’ve evened out the complexion.

  • Essence Lash Booster & False Lash Mascara- to boost lashes in a snap. Prep with the booster to give lashes more volume and length, then top with mascara for a major wow!

  • Buxom Plumping Lip Cream- helps to plump lips with a minty tingle and gorgeous color. We chose the shade Dolly, which is the perfect nude/pink for day time wear.
