If you’re looking for a little something fun to do with your girls (and boys!) while you’re on lock down, it might be a fun time to try out some of those crazy hair colors!? Our regular rules have gone out the door- no dress codes to adhere to and no photos to be worried about… might as well let them express their style and have some fun bonding while you do it. Here’s a look at what my girls chose, and links to some product ideas below.
BEST TEMPORARY HAIR COLOR PRODUCTS:
Most Temporary-
Kristin Ess- Rose Gold Temporary Tint- Sprays in to natural or bleached blondes, lasts 1-3 shampoos
Eva-nyc Temporary Color Spray Sprays in and shampoos right out
Medium Lasting-
Loreal Colorista- Options for blondes and darker shades, lasts 6-12 shampoos
Longest Lasting-
Manic Panic Semi Permanent Color Cream- Best for blonde and pre-lightened hair, apply with gloves to avoid stains, lasts 12+ shampoos
Overtone Color Conditioner- Super hydrating like a conditioner, but deposits semi-permanent color. Options for blondes and darker colors, lasts 12+ shampoos
I suggest you let your kiddos pick a color that speaks to their personality, that is half the fun! You can apply it all over, just on the ends, or even just a couple streaks.
