The New year is always a great time to implement goals, and your hair health should be no exception. And let’s face it, this is a much easier goal than hitting the gym and eating our veggies ;) But all jokes aside, I am a firm believer in self care and the power that comes from within when we feel better on the outside. So today I am giving you my tried and true routine for a healthier scalp, plus thicker hair that grows with less breakage.

Weekly scalp treatments 

Try Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner 

If you are using any type of color in your hair or heat tools, the chemical bonds in your hair weaken. Science has come a long way to help repair weak bonds to reduce breakage and smooth the surface of the hair. 

Don’t detangle hair until 70% dry

Limit heat styling, lower your heat temps and always use a heat protectant

Switch to a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and breakage. Or opt for a silk bonnet to protect curls or help with overly tangled hair
