One of the best parts of my job is exploring the local beauty scene in Utah. We have some world class facilities here and some of the best technicians in the industry. I get asked often for my fav beauty spot recommendations and so I decided to compile a list- these are not sponsored in any way, just honest favorites and the places that I spend my own money at regularly. The list is always growing as I discover new hot spots too, so be sure to check back!








Best Hair Extensions: Laced Hair

Laced Hair is known for it's amazing quality, and one look at their instagram profile and you'll see that they know what they are doing when it comes to extensions. They offer clip ins for a temporary enhancement, or several types of semi permanent applications like beaded wefts, and tape-in extensions. Not to mention Laced has provided the hair for the last several Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows- so that's pretty freaking cool!

Their salon and shop is bright and industrial with a super cool-girl attitude. If you've ever wanted long lengths, this is the place to start! You can order hair online too.

Glamour Gels uses their own brand of Nail Gel and it is something fierce! It'll last until it's removed without chipping or lifting. I have been known to wear a set until it has grown out more than 1/4 inch (which I know is something I shouldn't actually be proud of, but hey!?) The also offer a full Blow Dry Bar with high end products like Oribe and R+Co. It's the perfect pamper spot before a big vacation or night out on the town. Glamour Gels also carries super cute clothing and accessories!

Wax Me Too is a waxing destination dream. Why? SUPER FAST, professional services are their trademark. They are a specialist salon, which means all they do are waxes, so you are sure to be handled by an expert. No one wants to be lying on a table pant-less for more time than they have to. They are efficient and super clean, you'll notice the sanitation and professionalism from the second you walk in. I visit the Draper location, but there are a few around town, all with the same excellent reputation.

Best Mani & Pedi: Nailed!

Nailed! has been a Utah beauty staple for more than a decade, and they've always set the standard for a clean relaxing environment, and amazing nail services. You can be sure that their equipment is properly sanitized, and I always feel super pampered here. The customer service is amazing and you can't go wrong with that foot massage! Nailed! offers traditional polish as well as gel polish in their signature mani & pedi, and their newest location houses a gorgeous salon as well for cuts, colors and of course a Blowout after your nail appointment. I always find amazing jewelry every time I go too!

Best Faux Tan: European Tan

For those of us not blessed with golden skin, places like European Tan save the day! This has been
my go-to spot for sunless color for over 10 years. They offer a couple different machines for sunless tan, but my preferred option is called the Revolution. It's a round spray booth that perfectly encompasses your body in a fine tanning mist. I opt for the Clear spray because it doesn't stain clothes or sheets and processes to a more natural color- but they offer the traditional bronze spray option too.

Sego Lily Spa is a full service spa offering massages, pedicures, wraps and other spa luxury spa services. The space has an inviting ambience and peaceful Zen interior. Products and treatments offered here are tailored specifically for the dry desert climate, and this is always my go to relaxation spot for a facial. They carry many lines but my top picks are from their Eminence line, which is entirely plant based and leaves skin feeling so healthy. Check out their website for seasonal specials that are always a great value. Oh, and couples massages too!

Best Couples Massage: The Grand Spa at Grand America

The massage rooms at the Grand Spa are like a little piece of Heaven. You'll feel the luxury and the relaxation and literally never want to leave. The couples experience is also a must do for a big celebration like an anniversary- the rainfall shower experience is unreal! I also really appreciate the amazing locker facilities here, the spa robes, and the extra little treats included with each treatment. Plus the staff is top notch and will treat you like royalty.

Got Beauty is a beauty junkies dream store - with a full salon and day spa inside. The shop is an ideal place to find cool gifts for the women in your life. Anything from a cute handbag to wigs, plus makeup and hair products can be found in here too. Got Beauty has a huge amount of testers to try out the amazing range of cosmetics in person, but there’s also a huge online store in case you miss anything.

Spa Trouve is a medical spa that has a range of medical beauty treatments like laser hair removal, botox and other fillers. Spa Trouve also has body treatments like Coolsculpting for fat loss, although that is something I've yet to try. The spa combines beauty and high medical standards and has a clean, minimalist interior. I trust these ladies with needles in my face, so I have no reservations recommending them to you as well! Trouve also offers membership pricing, so if you are interested in repeat services, like laser hair removal- I reccomend signing up for the membership to save a little money each month.

Best Botox, Fillers and Facial Surgery: Form Spa

When it comes to needles in your face, I don't reccomend anything lightly. I fully trust the pros at Form Spa, and have had such wonderful results myself. The injectors and doctors here are HIGHLY TRAINED and have treated thousands of women. I get my Botox here about every 4-5 months, but have also done chemical peels and hydrafacials here too. If you are looking for fillers or plastic surgery options- they also have amazing board certified surgeons and facilities for in house surgery and recovery, partnered with Ward MD.

Best Permanent Cosmetics: Allure Artistry

Don't tattoo your face without doing your homework! I watched and waited for almost two years before I took the plunge, but I am SO GLAD I did, and I cannot rave enough about Melanie and her skills. Permanent brows are life changing for so many women including me, and Allure Artistry sees it that way too. Each client is assessed based on their own needs and brow structure, and every brow is perfectly shaped and colored to match the individual. No cookie-cutter one size fits all brows here!
